About Baby Milk Calculator

Baby Milk Calculator is a free tool designed to help parents and caregivers estimate daily and per-feeding milk amounts. The site is maintained as an editorial resource, not just a utility page, so the method, source standards, and correction path stay visible.

Our Mission

The goal is simple: make feeding guidance easier to understand without pretending that a general tool can replace individualized medical care. Parents need clarity, not guesswork and not thin content.

Core sources

American Academy of Pediatrics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization

We keep the method visible, cite primary public-health sources, and update pages when the tool or the underlying guidance changes materially.

Key Features

Transparent calculations

Age-based intake ranges and conversions are published on the site.

Private by default

Calculations happen on-device. The tool does not require an account.

Source-backed guides

Guide pages now publish their primary references and trust details directly on the page.

Built for parents

Simple outputs, clear limits, and no attempt to sound more certain than the source guidance allows.

How It Works

The calculator uses age-based intake guidance measured in milliliters per kilogram per day:

  • 0-2 months: 150-180 ml/kg/day
  • 2-6 months: 120-150 ml/kg/day
  • 6-12 months: 100-120 ml/kg/day
  • 12+ months: 90-110 ml/kg/day

For the exact formula, assumptions, and reference links, see How We Calculate.

Editorial Standards

Each guide is reviewed against official pediatric or public-health sources, and we keep medical boundaries explicit when a question can no longer be safely generalized. The full source, update, and correction standards are documented in the editorial policy.

Important Note

Medical Disclaimer: This calculator provides informational guidance only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult with your pediatrician or healthcare provider about your baby's specific nutritional needs.
